OUR WORKSHOP TUTORS RACHELLE KING Rachelle is an Australian knitewear designer with over 40 experience having designed original knitwear for magazines, yarn companies and private clients all over the world. Rachelle started creating with Marta's Yarns in the mid-90s and several pieces on her pattern website, studioknits.com, feature our yarns. She is a good friend and a fabulous creative collaborator.
MARIA SETTI Maria is one of our favorite textile artists. She has a knack for mixing interesting fibres with self-taught techniques to create unique pieces of jewellery, handbags and much more. Her felted pieces are wonderful examples of how to take textiles to another level. She loves mixing the old with the new and sharing her knowledge. She also works in the shop.
DAVID PEARCE David is regularly stopped in the street by people wanting to get a closer look at one of his stunning cable design coats. His wonderful knitwear designs won him a place in the RMIT Textile Design course, which he is currently completing. He is meticulous with his work and a never ending source of new techniques and design ideas.
